Auckland Gaelic Football Association is hosting The Australasian Gaelic Games from the 27th of September to the 2nd of October 2010 at Waitakere Trust Stadium from 9am to 5pm daily. The tournament will involve 12 teams in total. With 5 Senior Mens teams from; South Australia, Queensland, Auckland , Northland and Wellington, 3 Minor Mens teams  from; South Australia, Victoria and Auckland and 4 Womens teams from; Western Australia, South Australia, Queensland and Auckland. There will also be an exhibition game of Hurling between Auckland and Wellington before the finals on the Saturday. ENTRY IS FREE Monday to Thursday with a small entry fee of $20 per family of 4 or $10.00 per person for the Semi Finals on the Friday and Finals on the Saturday, followed by the prize giving dinner on Saturday evening the 2nd of Oct. Tickets will be on sale soon. Please check the Auckland GAA website in the coming weeks for more information on the upcoming games.

Do not be disappointed if you missed out on a ticket for the last draw. Ticket sales were so successful for the previous raffle that we plan to hold another raffle in early September. gaelicfootballandhurling.jpgPaul Graham passed away on Monday 19/7/10 at Waikato hospital after a short illness.

Paul was a former Celtic GFC player who then became a founding member of Harps GFC in 1986.

Paul was a much loved character and will be sorely missed. His funeral will be on thursday 22nd July in Tairua, Coromandel.
