Gaelic Football has been played in Auckland since the late 1940s – read about the history of Auckland GAA
The League Championship and All Stars competitions are played up till Christmas and in March we run our very successful Sevens Tournament. Games are played on Sundays. We welcome both men and women players at senior level and under 18.
Currently in Football we have 8 teams, 4 men’s teams and 4 women’s teams. Hurling, whilst played in Auckland in the fifties to the nineties had a lapse for a few years but now is being rekindled. We currently have 1 Hurling team and welcome more players.
We are fortunate to have the lease of fine facilities at Seddon Fields where you can also join in on a social side. There is a great family atmosphere and all are welcome.
