| Welcome to the home of Gaelic Football and Hurling in Auckland New Zealand. Football and Hurling is played at Seddon Fields, Meola Road, Pt Chevalier on Sundays from October to March. Currently in Football we have 10 teams; 5 men’s teams and 5 women’s teams. Hurling, whilst played in Auckland in the fifties to the nineties had a lapse for a few years but we hope to rekindle this fast paced, exciting game in the near future. The League Championship and All Stars competitions are played until March with the final of the Championship held at the Irish Societies St. Patricks Festival at Meola Road the weekend before St. Patricks Day. | We are fortunate to have the lease of fine facilities at Seddon Fields where you can also join in on a social side. There is a great family atmosphere and all are welcome. |
